These Terms govern your use of AI Incidents (https://aiincidents.org) and the AI Sec Network publications. By accessing the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Editorial content
Content is published for informational purposes. It does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or security advice for your specific situation. Verify against authoritative sources before acting on anything you read here. Where we cite primary sources, prefer those for decision-making over our summaries.
Acceptable use
You may:
- Read content for personal or professional use
- Cite or quote with proper attribution (link to the original page; quote less than 500 words)
- Share links on social media or in messaging applications
- Use code samples published in posts under their stated license (MIT unless otherwise noted)
You may not:
- Republish full posts on other domains, with or without attribution
- Use content to train AI models without express written permission (see "AI training" below)
- Scrape the site at a rate exceeding 1 request per second per IP
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or anti-abuse measures on associated services (newsletter signup, SaaS APIs)
- Use the site or any associated service for unlawful purposes
AI training
We do NOT consent to use of this site's content for training, fine-tuning, or otherwise developing machine learning models. This applies regardless of whether the content is fetched via web crawler, RSS, or any other mechanism. We respect machine-readable opt-outs (robots.txt, ai.txt, IETF AI Preferences when standardized) and expect AI developers to do the same.
For research uses (academic non-commercial, with citation), individual permissions may be granted on request to [email protected].
Intellectual property
Original content on this site is © AI Sec Network unless otherwise noted. Code samples are MIT-licensed unless explicitly stated otherwise. Image assets are either originally produced or licensed for our use.
Trademarks, logos, and product names referenced in posts belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary only.
Newsletter and SaaS services
If you subscribe to the newsletter or use any SaaS service operated by the AI Sec Network (e.g., the prompt-injection scanner, AI Red Team Gym), additional terms apply:
- Newsletter subscription can be cancelled at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
- SaaS services are provided "as-is" without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose
- Free-tier rate limits apply; abuse may result in account suspension without notice
- Paid services are governed by the specific subscription terms presented at signup

We link to external sites in posts and resource lists. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Outbound links do not constitute endorsement.
Disclaimer of warranties

Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith correspondence at [email protected]. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes may be brought in the operator's jurisdiction.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
